By downloading, accessing or using MinutedAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. MinutedAI is operated by LightWork Technology FZE LLC, a company registered in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LightWork Technology FZE LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
MinutedAI is an AI-powered meeting assistant that records, transcribes and analyses meetings, generating structured outputs including summaries, minutes of meeting, action items, decisions and follow-up emails. The Service is available via mobile application and web dashboard. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for: • Providing accurate and complete information when registering. • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. • All activity that occurs under your account. • Notifying us immediately at legal@minuted.ai if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not: • Record conversations without the knowledge or consent of all participants where required by applicable law. • Use the Service to record legally privileged, confidential or classified communications without appropriate authorisation. • Upload, transmit or store content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure. • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service. • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it. • Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent.
You are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from meeting participants before recording. Recording consent laws vary significantly by country and jurisdiction — in some locations all-party consent is required, in others only one-party consent is needed. MinutedAI does not obtain consent on your behalf and accepts no liability for any legal consequences, claims or penalties arising from recordings made without proper consent. By using the recording feature, you confirm that you have complied with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Meeting outputs generated by the Service (including summaries, minutes, action items, decisions and email drafts) are produced by AI and may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before acting on it or sharing it. MinutedAI makes no warranty that outputs will be accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose. You should not rely solely on AI-generated outputs for legal, financial, medical or other professional decisions.
The Service is offered on the following plans: • Free: 45 minutes of recording and 3 uploads per month. • Pro: 20 hours of recording and unlimited uploads per month. • Pro+: up to 75 hours of recording per month and unlimited uploads. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your sign-up date. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. All payments are processed securely by our payment provider. Prices are displayed in USD and exclude any applicable local taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal accessible from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until that date. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If a payment fails, we will retry the charge over a period of up to 7 days. If all retries fail, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan. Your data will not be deleted. Refunds may be issued at our discretion in exceptional circumstances. To request a refund, contact legal@minuted.ai.
The Service, including its design, code, features and branding, is owned by MinutedAI and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Meeting outputs generated from your recordings and transcripts belong to you. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your meeting content.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. When you record, audio is sent securely to a third-party AI provider to generate a transcript; that provider processes it under its own privacy and retention policies. Meeting transcripts and outputs are stored securely in your account.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that: • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. • Transcriptions or AI-generated outputs will be accurate or complete. • The Service will meet your specific requirements. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on AI-generated outputs.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MinutedAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to: • Errors or inaccuracies in transcriptions or AI-generated outputs. • Loss of data or meeting content. • Unauthorised access to your account. • Any legal consequences arising from recordings made without proper consent. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity or cause harm to other users or the Service. We will give reasonable notice where possible. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@minuted.ai. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days except where retention is required by law.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Where changes are significant, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.
